Days are getting shorter which is yet another sign of the looming and dooming fall months to come. We've been losing daylight since after the summer solstice on June 21st which was the longest day of the year. We've lost approximately 15 minutes of daylight so far this year--and there's no end in sight.

We lose about a minute of daylight every single day. In August things will start to speed up a little bit, losing two minutes of daylight per day. The sun will set at 8:30 p.m. by August 12. YUCK! I love fall, but I also love my daylight.

It's coming folks, brace yourself for colder months on the way.
