Minnesota Chef Competing in ‘Guys Grocery Games’ on Food Network

Chef John Sugimura is the latest Minnesotan to be a contestant on a Food Network competition show. Chef Sugimura is heading to Flavor Town Market to compete on Guy's Grocery Games on August 7th, 2019!

Currently a chef at PinKU Japanese Street Food in Minneapolis, his Instagram describes him as:

3rd generation Japanese-American and 2nd generation chef celebrating and guarding often-overlooked nuances and practices of Japanese cuisine.

His episode of Guy's Grocery games will be all-Asian food, and the judging panel is made up of Aarti Sequeira, Justin Warner, and Jet Tila, all regulars on the show. The new episode airs on the Food Network on August 7th at 8 p.m.
