Get ready for fair season, central Minnesota! Summer is right around the corner and I'm definitely here for it.

Gopher State Expositions is coming to Crossroads Center in St. Cloud to help us get our 'carnival' on! Last year, there were food trucks in the mall parking lot. That was such a hit, that they decided to bring the whole carnival to town this time.

Starting May 6th they'll have fun carnival rides, games and of course delicious fair food...I mean, it really wouldn't be a carnival without the fair food, right?! According to Gopher State Expositions website, they provide safe, clean fun!

Honestly, I feel like we all needed this news today.

You'll be able to catch all of the fun outside of Target and Macy's. It'll all be set-up in the location where the pop up drive-in movies were last summer. Look at Crossroads, bringing all the fun to town the last two summers. I LOVE this. Can we please keep this up long after the pandemic is over?!

Their food stands include; pizza, mini donuts, funnel cakes, Greek and chicken gyros, french fries, cheese curds, onion rings, fresh squeezed lemonade, corn dogs, brats, hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, caramel apples, smoothies and so much more!

Their website says that not all of the rides will be present at every event. However, they're known for their kids rides, Tilt A Whirl, Tornado, Dizzy Dragon, Gravitron, Ferris Wheel, Sizzler, Mardi Gras and more.

The carnival will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through May 16. So, if you're not sure what to do for your mom on Mother's Day...you're totally in luck. Take her to the carnival!
