
Man Hit In the Head, Robbed While Walking In Sauk Rapids
SAUK RAPIDS - A man who was out walking was struck on the head and robbed in Sauk Rapids. Police say it happened at about 8:15 p.m. Monday night in the 1600 to 1700 block of 2nd Avenue North.
A 48-year-old man says he was confronted by another man who demanded his wallet, then struck him on the head. The suspect took a few dollars from the victim's pants after he fell to the ground.
The victim walked to a nearby convenience store and called police.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5'9" tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie and baggy sweat pants.
Anyone with any information about this crime is urged to call Sauk Rapids police.
