Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk Kicks Off Saturday

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k Walk kicks off Saturday, Oct. 13 at St. Cloud State University.

The three to five mile walk is a  fundraiser that aims to raise money and bring awareness to those affected by breast cancer.

You can sign up online for easy check-in. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. The opening ceremony gets underway at 8:30 a.m. Participants will hear stories from survivors, people who are dedicated to finding a cure, and others who have been impacted by breast cancer.

The walk kicks off at 9 a.m. and you're encouraged to walk it at your own pace. St. Cloud's Fresh Mix, Mix 94.9 will provide music at the halfway point of the walk.
