Temperatures are about to get HOT again and several stores are sold out of pools.  These public beaches might just be the answer you've been looking for this summer.

  • Warner Lake is open. Lifeguards are not on duty. It's located in Clearwater. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Big Lake in Lakeside Park is open for swimming. It costs $5 to park your vehicle in the lot for the day. No pets are allowed. There will be no lifeguard on duty. You're directed to swim in the designated swimming area. The park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Clearwater Lake is open to the public for swimming.
  • Avon Public Beach is open now through Labor Day daily until 10 p.m.

If swimming isn't really your thing but you do love fishing, check out where the public water accesses and public fishing spots are via the Minnesota DNR's location map.
