Lindsay Lohan's latest scandal left her with a knuckle sandwich this weekend.

Last night, the actress shared live footage of what appeared to be her failed attempt at doing what she believed was the right thing when she tried to offer a homeless refugee family a warm place to sleep for the night.

“Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met,” Lohan said in an Instagram Live clip apparently filmed in Moscow, adding, “A Syrian refugee family that I’m really worried about. They really need help.”

The parents politely declined the 32-year-old's gesture, but that didn't deter her from trying to persuade their two sons. “Do you want to stay in a hotel tonight? Do you want to watch movies? It would be so cool to watch a movie on a TV or a computer," Lohan told the boys, before turning to their mother.

“You should not have them on the floor, you should be a hard-working woman and you should be doing what you [can] for your children, so they have a better life,” she scolded. “If someone is offering them a home and a bed, which is me at the moment, give it to them.”

Annoyed by their refusal, Lohan became increasingly aggressive with the family. "I won’t leave until I take you. Now I know who you are. Don’t f--k with me," she continued, claiming, "They’re trafficking children...You’re ruining Arabic culture by doing this."

Then, things escalated to violence when the mother punched Lohan for following her family and trying to take off with the children.

The whole incident is as bizarre as it is difficult to process, though Lohan tried to justify her actions in another clip where she stated she was only trying to save the children.

Users on social media, however, thought differently, and many are now accusing the star of attempted kidnapping.
