Thanks the Governor's announcement that Minnesota would be dropping capacity restrictions on outdoor events, country music festivals will be full of Minnesotans longing for a live music fix this summer.

The first country music festival of the summer on the 98.1 concert calendar is Moondance Jammin' Country Fest, June 17th, 18th, and 19th in Walker, Minnesota -- featuring Midland, Tyler Farr, Lauren Alaina, and more.

The 2020 edition of Moondance Jammin' Country Fest was canceled due to COVID-19.

The rollback of COVID-19 restrictions in the state for outdoor events affects other Minnesota country music festivals like Winstock, Lakes Jam, Piers Freedom Fest, FireFest, Twin Cities Summer Jam, WE Fest, and the Grandstand shows at the 2021 Minnesota State Fair.

Other big outdoor shows on the 98.1 calendar for this summer include Alabama, Darius Rucker, Jerrod Niemann, Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Old Dominion, and Luke Bryan.
