The holidays always seem to creep up on me.  It's back to school, and suddenly it's Halloween, Thanksgiving and then the next day it's Christmas!

Alright, not quite that fast, but it does seem like it.  In fact, if you go to any of the big box stores, Christmas and other holiday decor and displays have been up since Halloween, and in some cases, before Halloween.  I guess now we just blend all of these holidays together.  Personally, I do prefer them to all have their own day.  But that's not how marketing works.

This year, Thanksgiving is so late.  That just means that events that generally happen right around that time also seem a bit late.  One of those events is the Annual Zonta Christmas House.

Zonta House Always Opens the Weekend Before Thanksgiving

Since it's first Christmas Inspiration House in 1990, the Zonta Christmas House has been open the weekend right before Thanksgiving.  And this year, that means it will be open November 22nd and 23rd.  That is next weekend, the weekend before out late Thansgiving.

What Can You Expect?

The Zonta Christmas House is an annual fundraising event hosted by the local Zonta Club of St. Cloud, Minnesota. The event features a beautifully decorated spaces that is open to the public for viewing. Local designers and stores transform each room of the space into a festive holiday wonderland, showcasing unique decorating styles and inspiring holiday cheer.

If you are wondering what/who the Zonta House helps as far as programs in the area, the focus is on women and girls empowerment through education, leadership and service that involves the following:

~STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
