My beautiful son Tanner, (pictured above in the white with his arms in the air,) is turning 15 years old tomorrow. I can't believe it. He's in High school this year!  Not only that, he's really stepping it up with responsibilities. Tanner does his homework first thing when he gets home from school, he helps mom with chores without complaining, and he puts up with his two brothers! Being the middle child, I'm sure he feels like he's overlooked, as so many middle children do.

So we're having a birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa's tomorrow. Lots of his friends are coming over for a bonfire, roasted hotdogs and marshmallows, and music, out on the farm.

What does your teen birthday party look like? Here are some birthday party ideas, that come straight from teens themselves, to make their special day extra special:

  • Have a Karaoke Competition
  • Have a video game marathon. Super Mario anyone?
  • Lip Sync/Guitar Air Band with your close friends
  • Make a group Music Video and post it on youtube
  • Just for laughs, rent a bounce house...Its good clean fun and gets the "little kid" out of everyone
  • Supply everyone with disposable cameras.
