Being thankful is something that we can all do a better job of.  Everyday, instead of whining about how little money we make, how people are taking us for granted, how about sending up some thoughts of thankfulness.  Here are mine.

I'm thankful for my parents.  I'm thankful that they were, and always have been there for me.  I think about all the things that they have done for my brother and I. The love we received when we were kids, the birthday parties that took all that planning...the Christmas get togethers...with our grandparents...and both sides of the family.  The family picnics.  The trips to Lake Winnie...The college education...I thank my parents for their constant support....The trips back and forth to Kentucky...and bringing me back to Minnesota.

I'm thankful for my brothers...I'm thankful for my cousins...my nieces and nephews.  For all the fun time together...I'm thankful for my friends throughout the years....In grade school, middle school, high school....

I'm thankful for my friends.  New and old....Especially those that have always stood by me when times were difficult. I'm thankful for the friends that always told me I was worthy when sometimes I didn't feel it.

I'm thankful for the pets that have been in my life.  The joy they bring...the love they give.

I'm thankful for the food on my table, the roof over my head, the car I drive. I'm thankful for my job, my co workers.

What are you thankful for?  Take a deep breath on your way home today...and just say..."Thanks for everything."
