Join the Granite City Book Club at the Stearns History Museum

Here's a great way to celebrate Minnesota literature and meet new people.  The Granite City Book Club gets together the third Wednesday of every month at the Stearns History Museum in St. Cloud, and discusses the 'club pick' of the month.  You'll get a chance to spend an evening with the author while enjoying wine and refreshments.

August's club pick - 'Country Ragamuffins' by Maxine Bergerson Werner.  The book journeys back to the 1950's in rural MN.  The author was the oldest girl among eight siblings in a Norwegian farm family.  You can meet the author on Wednesday, August 20th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Upcoming book clubs include:  'Delicate Armor' by Connie Claire Szarke (9/17) and 'The Nearly Departed' by Michael Norman (10/15).  The Granite City Book Club is FREE for members of the Stearns History Museum or $7 for non-members.  You can pick up copies of the books in advance at the museum store.
