Official Attendance Numbers Now In For MN State Fair 2025

Have you ever felt like you were swimming in a sea of people?  I have lived in Minnesota for 25 years, and 2025 was the year I finally checked the Minnesota State Fair off my bucket list!

Based on the latest numbers for this year, it looks like quite a few of us make the Minnesota State Fair part of our summer plans.  You can see the official count of how many people attended this year below.

The Food, Animals, Lines, and Talent Came To Life At The Minnesota State Fair This Year

All of the foods and drinks that I have been reading about came to life - including Pickle Pizza.  I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but for $9 a slice and a 45-minute wait, I was going to make my taste buds love it.  Turns out, there is a reason why people stand in line for that pizza - it's great!

Butterflies, Pronto Pups, cookies, baby piglets, wine slushies, the parade, a cow that just delivered a calf, crop art...it all made my feet hurt, but was so much fun!

I heard that one of the longest lines was to see the crop art...and that line grew tremendously while I was standing in line!  Now I know why.  It was truly remarkable to see this type of art - I was seriously shocked at the talent that I was looking at.  To all of the artists, thank you for bringing these pieces to our world.

There was one piece of art in that room that moms of teenagers will love...it was about "6 or 7" minutes into the wait.  ;)

Official Attendance Numbers For The Minnesota State Fair In 2025

I'm not sure what I was expecting as far as crowds, but I did not adequately prepare for what I saw at the Minnesota State Fair.  There were areas where I felt like I was going to need to swim through the crowd to get through.

I attended on a day when there were close to 200,000 people at the fair.  Everyone was so nice!  The vendors, volunteers, staff, and the thousands and thousands of guests that I walked by and next to.  Thank YOU for making my first experience at the Minnesota State Fair an amazing one.
