University Bridge in St. Cloud to Close as Part of Larger Project

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- Another Mississippi River crossing in St. Cloud will be closed due to construction.

The city of St. Cloud will be closing the University Bridge starting Friday at 8:00 p.m.

University Drive South will be closed from 9th Avenue South to Killian Boulevard until late July, including the University Bridge.

The intersections of University Drive and 9th Avenue South and University Drive and Killian Boulevard will remain open, but intersections at 7th Avenue South and 5th Avenue South will be closed.

Local access will be maintained, but all other drivers should find an alternate route or take the posted detour.
