St. Cloud Nail Salon on 33rd Avenue Changes Name & Owner

Whether it's for a special occasion or if you do this on a regular basis, getting your nails done can just be some self-care and pampering.  It's just like getting a massage, or a facial or whatever other me-time you might do, it's fun.

CLIENTS OF NAIL SALONS USUALLY ARE LOYAL TO THE NAIL TECH - NOT NECESSARILY THE SALON

There are so many nail salons around St. Cloud and the surrounding towns.  And admittedly, some places are much better than others.  But once you find someone that "gets it" as far as what you prefer to have done, you tend to stick with that person.

So, what if they move?  You will probably move right along with them.  Loyalty to the nail tech, not necessarily to the salon.

MOVING FROM ONE SALON LOCATION TO THE OTHER WITH A NEW NAME

Kim's Nails in Waite Park is located in the strip mall next to Crew car wash.  And has been there for several years, this, after making the move from another strip mall which is no longer there - was torn down a few years ago.  That's when the current location opened up near Crew.

AFTER STEPPING BACK - THE TIME IS RIGHT TO REOPEN IN ANOTHER LOCATION

Kim (the former owner of the salon) did step back to part time for a couple of years for some personal reasons.  She was still working at the salon that bears her name, but now has decided to branch out again.  She has now moved and opened her own salon, again, with her name.  Just a bit of a variance.  Instead of Kim's Nails, it will now be Nails by Kim and is located in the former Sky Nails spot.  Sky Nails, now Nails by Kim, is located on 33rd Avenue, just behind Taco Bell near Walmart.

THE FORMER SALON IS STILL OPEN WITH A DIFFERENT OWNER

Kim's Nails in Waite Park also remains open, but the namesake has moved on.  If you are someone who likes to pamper yourself every so often, and you were/are a client of Kim's, you might want to see her at her new location just off of 44rd Avenue.  The sign still says Sky Nails, which I am assuming is now just temporary.
