This past weekend, driving by the Dairy Queen located on 25th Avenue South, I noticed SO MANY people that were waiting in line for their ice cream treat.  After all, it was 90 degrees in October.  So yes, take advantage of that situation as long as you possibly can.

THE TIME IS RIGHT TO GET YOUR LAST MINUTE DQ TREAT

The window for getting your DQ fix is shortening.  There is a sign out front of the Dairy Queen stating that they will be closing at the end of this week.  Or, at the beginning of next week depending on how you view a Sunday.  Is it the end of the week, or is it the beginning of the next?

THIS IS THE LAST WEEK FOR THE DQ ON 25TH TO BE OPEN FOR THE SEASON

The Dairy Queen on 25th Avenue in St. Cloud will be closed for the season on Sunday, October 18th.  That will be the last day for this season that they will be open.  And just in time, as we were kind of spoiled this past weekend, the temps are predicted to be much more season for this week.  Although, if you are like me, I don't really care what the temperature is, if I want a frozen treat, I will still get one.

IT MIGHT BE THE PERFECT TIME TO BRING EVERYONE OUT TO THE DQ BEFORE IT CLOSES

So, no matter the weather this week, take the family out to get a last minute Dairy Queen treat.  Or just one for yourself - no judgement.  It will be next Spring before that opportunity is there again.  And remember, this spring watch for "Free Cone Day" which usually coincides with the first day of spring.  You will get a small vanilla cone for free on that day.
