Look at those blue eyes!  Not much is known about Sammy right now, just that she is about 40 pounds, 4 years old, and is a very happy, excited, and a little jumpy around kids dog.  She also chases cats, so if you have a cat already, Sammy might not be the right pet for you.

OCTOBER IS ADOPT A SHELTER PET MONTH

October is adopt a shelter pet month, and Sammy is one of those pups that has had her adoption fee reduced.  She also comes with one training session available through Sapphire Canine in Foley.  And full honesty - Sammy could do with some training.  She does know basic commands, however.

Oh, and it's probably a good idea to ask to meet Sammy outside of her kennel if you would like to meet her.  She acts better, and shows better when she isn't all anxious in her kennel.

PETS NOT ADOPTED IN THE WEEK THEY ARE FEATURED - STILL AVAILABLE

We heard the news that last week's featured adoptable pet is STILL at the Tri-County Humane Society.  We always want every pet to be adopted into their forever home.  So, hearing that Gypsum is still there is a little sad.  But she will find a home too.
