USA Today: Lambeau And U.S. Bank Stadiums Face Off In Food Fight
The NFL season gets underway this week with the first preseason game on Thursday night, as the Lions and Chargers meet in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
Minnesota and Wisconsin Stadium Food Takes the Spotlight
While players battle on the field each week this season, fans are battling in stadiums to find the best food to fuel their game-day experience. Each team and stadium offers unique and tasty food selections, often sourced locally, and no one does it better than teams in the NFC North.

Three NFC North Stadiums Nominated
USA Today is asking fans to vote for the NFL stadium with the best food, and of the 20 nominees, three NFC North stadiums are in the running: Lambeau Field, U.S. Bank Stadium, and Soldier Field.

Each stadium brings something unique to the table. Lambeau has Brat Eggrolls, Brat Tots, and a Brat Breakfast Sandwich (notice a theme?). U.S. Bank serves up the SKOL Dog, a Jerk Bacon Sandwich, and a Frozen Hot Chocolate Mousse. Over in Chicago, Soldier Field offers up a giant Bear Claw Pretzel and the Bear Paw Donut.
Voting Is Open Through August 18
Voting for USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards is open until Monday, August 18, and the Top 10 stadium food winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 27.
As of now, only one NFC North stadium, U.S. Bank Stadium, has cracked the top 10. NRG Stadium in Houston, Lumen Field in Seattle, and AT&T Stadium in Dallas currently hold the top three spots.
