Foodie Says This Is The Most Overrated Food At Minnesota State Fair
Blaphsemy! One of the biggest attractions at the Minnesota State Fair has been called "overrated" by this lady from Indiana. She actually is worried she'll get kicked out of Minnesota and not welcomed back.
I was reading a publication that ranked Minnesota as the Number 3 Foodie destination in the United States for State Fairs. Minnesota has the largest state fair in the whole country in St. Paul, but as far as a foodie destination, it came in at a respectable 3rd.
Everyone has their "go-tos" at the Minnesota State Fair. It's those classics you just have to get every time you go. I always need a corn dog and cheese curds, or I just don't feel complete at the end of our visit.

They add new menu items each year, but some of the traditional ones have been around forever and have grown quite a following.
The largest vendor, generating the most revenue each year at the Minnesota State Fair, is Sweet Martha's Cookies. The chocolate chip cookies are served up warm and you can buy them by the bucket!

I found a TikTok where a foodie says she doesn't see what the big deal is about Sweet Martha's Cookies. How dare she!
Her words were, "I feel like I'm going to get banned from Minnesota because I don't think there is anything special about these cookies."
Wow! I rushed to the comments to find someone to defend our Sweet Martha and her cookies. But a lot of people from Minnesota agreed and said they are overrated.
I think the sales numbers and volume speak for themselves. There's got to be something special about Sweet Martha's Cookies if they sell $5 million worth of cookies in two weeks.
