Minnesota Healthcare Facility Now Recognized Among Nation’s Top 20 Hospitals
One of the most important decisions we make in our lives is choosing the best health care provider for our needs.
Experts agree that choosing a healthcare provider is important because the relationship we have with them significantly impacts health decisions and overall well-being. A good provider can offer preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and provide guidance and support, leading to better health outcomes and a more positive healthcare experience.
Minnesotans are fortunate because, overall, Minnesota is considered a good state for healthcare. It consistently ranks high in national studies and reports, often being recognized as the best state in the nation for healthcare. These rankings are based on factors like cost, access, and health outcomes.
Unfortunately, not all hospitals within the state are equal when it comes to quality of care, but in contrast, one Minnesota hospital just ranked among the very best in the entire country.
Ranking The Top 20 Hospitals in the United States
U.S. News & World Report says its mission with its annual Best Hospitals rankings has been to help guide patients, in consultation with their doctors, to the right hospital when they need care. It's something they've proudly done for the past 30 years.

They note that because each patient's needs are different, U.S. News offers rankings and ratings in more than three dozen different healthcare services, including cancer care, orthopedics, and heart bypass surgery.
In each state and region, hospitals with a wide breadth of excellence are recognized as Best Regional Hospitals, and the best of them are also named to the national Honor Roll.
The 2025-2026 Best Hospitals Honor Roll
The new hospital rankings report has just been released, and U.S. News notes that only 20 hospitals out of nearly 4,500 evaluated for the 2025-2026 U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings and ratings made the Honor Roll, which represents the top hospitals nationally for excellence in multiple areas of care.
Hospitals were awarded Honor Roll points if they ranked in one or more of the 15 specialties that U.S. News evaluates, with more points for higher rankings, and if they were rated "High Performing" in one or more of the 22 procedures and conditions.
After all the data was evaluated, one Minnesota hospital was named to the honor roll, officially making it one of the Top 20 hospitals in the U.S.
