Did you know that in different parts of the Midwest, there are different names for your favorite convenience store? Depending on which state you live in, it could be called Kwik Trip or Kwik Star. They've decided to clear up any confusion with a pretty funny map of the Midwest.

Kwik Trip started in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1965. It's expanded over the years to nearly 1,000 stores across the Midwest. However, in some states, they aren't called Kwik Trip. That's because they wanted to make sure they weren't confused with a competitor.

Have you ever driven through Iowa? You'll see QuikTrip gas stations around Des Moines. These aren't affiliated with the Wisconsin-founded company. That's why Kwik Trip calls their stores in those states Kwik Star. They cleared up any confusion with a pretty funny map of the Midwest.

They threw some shade at states that they don't operate in, like lower Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.

For those not great at geography, they call Nebraska 'corn,' Missouri 'South Iowa,' Kansas is 'tornado,' Indiana is Indiana Jones, Lower Michigan is 'Eminem,' and nobody lives in Ohio. That's pretty creative.

So there's the story of why Kwik Trip and Kwik Stars exist with different names. No go get a roller bite and big buddy, and we'll see you next time.
