For as long as I can remember, every time I have been to Little Falls, Minnesota I have always at least driven by the dam. Most of the time it's to avoid one extra traffic light on my way to St. Cloud, but I am always genuinely interested to see how much water is moving through it.

I drove past there this April morning after my dentist appointment and had to stop and get a picture. All units were open and water was flowing through like crazy. I have never in my life seen rapids that extreme coming from the dam. And not only that, the water level was the highest I can remember seeing as well.
