You are once again being advised by KIA, to park your vehicle outside and away from buildings if you have one of the latest model recalls from the Manufacturer.

Kia is recalling over 462,000 202-2024 Tellurides. The reason? The front power seat motor could overheat if a power seat slide knob gets stuck. This could cause the vehicle to catch on fire either while parked, or while you are driving it! Yikes!

KIA TELLURIDES

Kia owners of the specific model are being warned to park their vehicles outside and away from buildings until they can bring their vehicles in for a free repair. The dealer will install the necessary equipment needed so that your vehicle is once again safe to drive and safe to park in your garage.

The recall notification letters will be sent out around July 30th, so if you own one of the affected vehicles, you should be receiving that notice soon.

If you are a concerned Kia vehicle owner, you can also call their customer service line at 1.800.333.4542 and give them SC316 as the recall code.

HONDA RECALLS 'FIT' AND 'HR-V' VEHICLES

Another big recall is from Honda. They are recalling over 114,000 2018-2020 Fit and 2019-2022 HR-V vehicles. The reason? The rearview camera image might not display when the engine is started with a key. Because of this, it can increase the risk of a crash, if the rearview camera fails to show the driver, what is behind the vehicle.

Recall letters for these vehicles are expected to also go out in July, but Honda owners can get a head start if they have concerns and call Honda's service number at 1.888.234.2138. Codes for the recall are TIQ and DIR.

TOYOTA TUNDRA TOO?

Other vehicles in recall status include the following:

2022-2023 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX600 equipped with a V35A engine.

FORD MUSTANG

2024 Ford Mustangs may need a Clutch pressure line and repair. Notifications are being sent out on June 17th, 2024. Owners can call Ford at 1.866.436.7332 with Recall code: 24S36.
