Is It Weird To Incorporate A Theme Into Your Wedding? [POLL]

I'm in total wedding planning mode because it's just six months away! There's so much left to do and it's coming down to crunch time. My fiance is a huge baseball fan. We originally wanted to get married at Target Field...until we realized how expensive it is.

Instead, we're getting married in town. But, I still want to incorporate some baseball elements into the wedding because I know he'd appreciate it. I just want to make sure not to go too overboard--I still want things to look elegant. Can I do both, or will it just look tacky?

This is my big dilemma. I should also mention that I'm not the most crafty person either...so, this will be a challenge no matter what. I need your help! Do I keep things simple and stick with the basic wedding decor, or do I give my fiance a little nod and incorporate a baseball theme?
