Is It Too Soon To Start Decorating For Fall? [VOTE]

Over the weekend I desperately wanted to decorate for Halloween. However, Dave kept telling me that it was far too soon to start all of that. He told me decorating for fall rather than Halloween would be more appropriate.

I've started to feel that fall itch way too early this year. I think it has to do with the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves and the fact that I'm 8 months pregnant and nesting.

This year, I especially love the fall a little more than normal because I have this need to feel cozy and warm. I'm obsessed with the thought of being able to wear cardigans, boots, and scarves again. Pumpkin spice candles seem to have the best calming effect  on me!

I'm waiting until October before I finally start decorating the outside of my house for Halloween, but you better bet the pumpkin spice candles are already on full display in my house. I think the first official day of fall is appropriate to start displaying pumpkins and fall crafts. That just so happens to be September 21 this year. When do you think is appropriate to start decorating for fall and Halloween?
