There's truth to the old adage "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all," and this guy learned it the hard way.

The Minnesota State Fair is only half-way through its 2019 run, but one Minnesota man has had enough already. In particular, it seems, he's sick of seeing mentions of the fair appearing in his Twitter feed.

To make matters worse (or better, depending on how you see it) is that the Minnesota State Fair responded as any good Minnesotan would (ie. passive-aggressively) -- by retweeting his tweet!

The internet replied in kind (that is, similarly, not kindly):

Somebody get this guy some cotton candy and Sweet Martha's cookies! Well, maybe not the cookies...apparently they're overrated.
