Icy Roads Causes Two Vehicle Crash in Collegeville Township

COLLEGEVILLE TOWNSHIP -- Two people were hurt after a head on crash early this (Friday) morning.

The incident happened just before 7:00 a.m. on County Road 50 at Harbor Road near Big Fish Lake in Collegeville Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old William Lehn, of Avon, was heading north on County Road 50 when he hit an ice patch on the road, lost control and hit another vehicle traveling south.

43-year-old Scott Philippi, of Albany, was the driver of the second vehicle.

Both drivers were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for their injuries.
