I Wrote A Wedding Song For My Nephew and Bride To Be [PICTURES]

My handsome nephew and his beautiful fiance are planning on getting married in May. These two have been dating on and off since their school days, so this wedding has been a long time coming.

They asked me to play piano for their wedding service. So on Monday, while I was off work due to not having a voice, I decided to get some practice in on the songs they requested me to perform.

I am a songwriter, but quite honestly, I just haven't been motivated to write a song for quite some time. I don't know if it's because I'm incredibly happy right now or what, but...I sat down at that piano, and just started writing.

I had Brandon and Trina on my mind; How long they've been together; watching them through the years; smiling; arguing; whatever it is, always staying together. They have a beautiful son who loves to come to Auntie Kelly's and play with trains... All of that...I just started writing.

Five hours later, I had written a song, exclusively for them, for their wedding day.  I texted them about 10 pm and asked if they wanted to read the lyrics....and they were both on board...saying it was perfect for them! Yay!

Now, I want to get together with Brandon's brother Brody, so we can work this up as a duet.  Congratulations to Brandon & Trina!  I hope your wedding day is nothing less than perfect.  Stay tuned for the recording!  I will share with you when it's done!  :-)
