Huskies Head To Frozen Faceoff Friday

The St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team is headed to the Frozen Faceoff at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul this afternoon to take on their rival, the University of North Dakota! Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. It's going to be a big game!

The Huskies are ranked number one in the country according to the latest national college hockey poll. If the Huskies win tonight they'll play in the tournament championship tomorrow for first place. No matter what happens they'll be playing in the NCAA tournament. But, the reason they really want to win tonight is because they'd knock out North Dakota to possibly play in the NCAA tournament closer to home.

They'll either be taking on Duluth or Denver on Sunday. They'll have to win the national tournament after this weekend to get to the Frozen Four! They've still got a ways to go but they're looking really good!
