Not Enough Chicken? How About Hot Chicken in St. Cloud
We all know that if there is a new fast food place coming to the St. Cloud area, 9 times out of 10 it will be a chicken place. We have also cornered the market on car washes and small banks. I'm not saying it's all bad, I'm just saying that as a fact. It is what it is.
DO WE NEED ANOTHER TYPE OF CHICKEN FAST FOOD PLACE
One thing that we don't really have here as far as the chicken places go is any sort of hot chicken. Sure, you can order some hot spice on your wings or something, but not quite the same.
MORE HOT CHICKEN PLACES OPENING AROUND MINNESOTA
Dave's Hot Chicken is a California based chain that is fairly popular around the country. Now, they are moving into Minnesota. They already have some locations in the Twin Cities area, with more coming to a couple of the suburbs. Edina is getting one this coming Spring, along with Eden Prairie and Oak Park Heights. Those last two locations are under review from the City officials.
The hot chicken chain began opening some Minnesota locations back in 2023, and according to Bring Me the News, there will be about 30 locations to open around the state of Minnesota. It has not been confirmed nor denied of or when one would be coming to the St. Cloud area, but with our history with chicken places, you have to assume there will be a location here soon-ish.
CHECK OUT THEIR MENU ITEMS - SOME CLEVER ITEMS
If you are unfamiliar with Dave's Hot Chicken, they have some other fun things on their menu. How about some loaded shakes? You can take your shake to the next level with added toppings of your choice. Sounds like a fro-yo bar. I'm on board with that idea. They also have some catering options where you can order several things in a "party box" of sorts. Oh- and how about a kale slaw order? It's probably the most healthy thing on their menu. Instead of cole slaw, it's kale slaw.
I'm willing to try it.
