The COVID-19 pandemic has many people asking what Halloween will look like this year. Will kids be out trick-or-treating? Will people feel comfortable enough to pass out candy? There are many unknowns, but one thing is for sure--Holdingford will have candy!

The Holdingford Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting 'Trick Or Treat Downtown' on Friday, Oct. 30. It's a free event for kids of all ages to dress in costume and stop in to local businesses for some candy.

The event starts when it's still light out for the little kids. It goes from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. around downtown Holdingford. You can stop out, collect candy and be home in time to watch a few of your favorite Halloween movies before bedtime. Don't you just love the fall?!

Participating businesses will be marked. You'll find the marking in the front window of establishments choosing to pass out candy. Last year, businesses all had a balloon displayed to let you know they were giving out treats. There's no word yet on what this year's marking will be.

An official list of local businesses passing out candy hasn't yet been announced. According to the Facebook event page, the list will be published sometime in September.

You can check out more information as it becomes available on the Holdingford Chamber of Commerce's 'Trick or Treat Downtown' Facebook event page.
