Here’s What Dave-O Got For His First Father’s Day [LOOK]

Our son Charlie turned 8 months old on June 16th! For Dave's first official Father's Day Charlie decided to take his first two wobbly steps. It was a little bittersweet. We're happy he's growing up and becoming, as Dave would say, 'a big dude.' But, we're also sad that he's growing up so fast.

Charlie decided to keep things simple. He gifted himself a shirt that read, 'I'm your Father's Day gift, mom says you're welcome.' He also gave his dad a Little Critter book by Mercer Mayer titled Just Me And My Dad. Dave loves reading to Charlie, so it seemed to be the perfect gift.

Lastly, Charlie gave his dad a card that he signed himself. It's not legible, but Dave got the point.

We had a really relaxing Father's Day and both Dave and I realized that our little boy is growing up super fast right before our eyes. Last year at this time we were dreaming about what his little face would look like and what type of person he'd be.

This year we're watching our little baby become a little boy! A lot can change in a year! We hope you had a great Father's Day with your dad!
