Here’s How You Can Help The Las Vegas Victims
Las Vegas, Nevada became the scene of the largest mass shooting in United States history on Sunday night. According to CNN, the death toll is up to 59 and climbing with more than 500 people injured.
So many people around the country are angry, shocked and saddened by the news. It's only natural to feel a little lost and confused. Many people want to help out but don't know where to start. If you're looking for ways to help the victims, here are a few.
- Donate blood to the American Red Cross. Many of the Las Vegas victims needed blood transfusions, and the Red Cross's blood supply is low. If you're interested in donating your blood you can stop by the St. Cloud Area Blood Donation Center
at 1301 W Saint Germain St Saint Cloud, MN 56301. Their hours vary and can be found on their website. - You can donate money to the victims and their families through a 'Go Fund Me' page created by the Clark County Commissioner Chair from Las Vegas. The page says that the money will, 'be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.' The page has already raised nearly $3 million.
