Can we just all be on the same page and agree that no one likes being in the car for a morning commute? There's road rage, people who text and drive, people who don't pay attention and the whole having to sit and be alert because you could die if you're not thing isn't fun.

A website called Educate Driver looked at how much time you'll waste commuting in your lifetime. The results span the country and are pretty disheartening, but better than I would have guessed.

For St. Cloud, Minnesota, the average person's morning commute is 41.6 minutes or roughly 325 days over your lifetime. ISH! It's not as bad as someone from the Twin Cities. If you live in Bloomington, Minneapolis or St. Paul, your average commute is 50.4 minutes (which doesn't seem that much worse than St. Cloud). But, it adds up overtime. You'll spend 394 days commuting over your lifetime.

The website assumed the average person starts working full time at age 18. The retiremnet age is 63 in the U.S. So, if you're good at math (I'm so not) that's 43 years of work over your life. They took that information and compiled it with data from the U.S. Census Bureau...the rest is history.

This might be a good time to look into a job that pays you to work from home.
