Here We Go Again – No One Needs That Much Toilet Paper
Well, we have been here before. Remember (how could we forget) people buying like 5 or more bulk packages of toilet paper during the pandemic? So much so that some of the big box stores like Costco and Sam's Club had to start putting limits on those products?
We are here again.
This time it's because of a combination of a couple of things. First, Hurricane Helene, and the disaster area along on the Southeast Coast. But they actually need these things sent to them. And the other (bigger reason) is because of the port strike. But the thing is, that people are stocking up on things that will most likely not be affected by the port strike.
So, the worst thing is that these things are going to get more expensive. So if you want to head to the liquor store and stock up, that's up to you, but not necessarily something you absoluely need. Even though during the shut down during the pandemic, that was one of the things that was considered essential and were allowed to stay open.
The other thing that may hit your pocket book and become much more of an inconvenience are the possilbe shortage of auto parts and pharmaceuticals. That could really be an issue. NOT the toilet paper, other paper products and bottled water. But people have been really stocking up on those items...again. You're fine.
