Help Local Couple Adopt Through Shoe Drive
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Jessica and Jeremy Drewitz live in Melrose, and are looking for help collecting new or gently used shoes, of any type and size to help fund their adoption. Through an organization called Funds2Org, the shoes will go to third world countries both for them to wear and to use for trading as a means to get what they need to live.
New and gently used shoes are being collected of any size for men, women, and children, and any kind, whether it is tennis shoes, boots, heels, flip flops or other. The goal is to collect 300 bags of 25 pairs each by January 14th.
Bins are located at Coborn's and Snap Fitness in both Melrose and Sauk Centre. For those closer to St. Cloud, shoes can be dropped off at St. Wendelin's School in Luxemburg.
