Not only did Harry Styles make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut last night (November 16), but he also released a brand new song, "Watermelon Sugar."

Prior to the episode, the 25-year-old sent slices of watermelon to fans that were bearing the cold weather to get a ticket to the taping of the show. Styles even sent a crew member outside to FaceTime fans that waited in the long line.

The "Lights Up" singer kicked off the show with an epic monologue that included a subtle diss at Zayn Malik. "I'm not in a boy band anymore. I'm in a man band," the former One Direction member joked.

"I love those guys. Niall, Liam, Louis..." before drifting off and struggling to remember the fifth member's name. "Uh.. Ringo! Yeah, that's it," he smiled. Malik famously left 1D nine months prior to the rest of the gentlemen officially breaking up.

Styles performed in numerous skits during the episode where he played the roles of a funeral DJ, newsboy, social media manager, Icelandic husband, pilot, office intern and dog.

Styles debuted the second release off of his upcoming second studio album, Fine Line, with "Watermelon Sugar." He also serenaded the audience with a new ballad rendition of his single, "Lights Up."
