If you would have asked me a few weeks ago what I thought the first day of spring 2018 was going to look like, I quite certainly wouldn't have said snow. But, because we live in Minnesota, and the only thing that's nearly certain in our state is cold weather and snow lasting into May, I should have known better. If you're looking to celebrate the changing of the season, you're in luck. There are a few spring related things you can do to help you get over your winter blues.

Saint John's Maple Syrup Festival--Bring your family to SJU on Saturday, March 24 to learn how to make some old fashioned maple syrup! You'll even get to try some on ice cream! Yum!

Free ice cream from DQ--You can get a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen today in honor of the first day of spring!

Register for Dream Getaway 31--we'll be registering you for Dream Getaway #31 starting on Monday! Start dreaming about where you want to go, who you want to take with you and when you want to get going!

Twins Home Opener--The first Twins home game of the year is set for April 5. You can still get your home opener tickets! This years giveaway is a Twins hoodie for the first 30,000 fans!

Start planning your April Fools pranks--We're only 10 days away from one of my favorite days of the year, April Fools Day! Unfortunately, this year it falls on a Sunday so you'll probably have to wait another year to prank your co-workers.

Start your spring cleaning projects--I'm planning to go home today and just unload on my house. I've got a to-do list that's longer than my grocery list. I want my house to shine like the top of the Chrysler building.

If you're still not feeling all that inspired about spring because of all of the snow on the ground, find a Netflix series and binge watch it until the weather warms up...that's my backup plan.
