It's hard to believe that Halloween is just about here. And yet, here we are in the midst of Back to School and Halloween, apparently.  I do feel like September is a better time to start with the Halloween stuff, but that's just me.  I also feel like retail in general tends to rush the season... every season.  You know that we are going to see Christmas show up before we even hit Halloween.

There are quite a few Halloween things that you can pick up at Costco, from costumes to candy and other decorations.  Most of them are at a decent/reasonable price.  Unless you are looking for giant yard decor.  Those tend to be a bit on the pricey side.

Although, if you are looking for that type of thing, it's probably worth it to purchase big pieces like that, since you will (hopefully) be able to use them for years to come.

The skeleton that is on the end of this picture is only half a skeleton.  It looks like it's coming out of the ground and is a couple of feet tall.  The cost os $69.99.  Worth it?  The werewolf and the odd tree/scarecrow dude are close to a hundred dollars too... but again, worth it?  They are rather huge.  If you look at the shelf below the giant yard decorations, you will see that they are close to a couple hundred bucks.  Yes, very nice decorations, and would probably last for years, but still... that's a lot of coin.

Tis the season, people!
