Fundraiser Started For Helicopter Crash Victim’s Family

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Charles Nord was one of three men on board the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that crashed near Kimball, Minnesota on Dec. 5. He along with Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Rogers Jr. and Sgt. Kort Plantenberg lost their lives that day.

A Go Fund Me Campaign has been started by Nord's family member, Tiffany Nord to help raise money for his family. He leaves behind his wife Kaley and their two-year-old daughter Lydia and son on the way. All proceeds from the campaign will be given to Kaley Nord to help her raise their family.

Since the fun was established one day ago, the campaign has already raised nearly $31,000 of the $100,000 goal.
