It's almost officially fall--we're just a few short weeks away. It's time to start marking your calendar with all of the fun festive activities that'll be happening soon, like this one.

The Sartell Chamber and Everything Sartell will be hosting Monster Dash at the Sartell Community Center on Saturday, October 24 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's a free event for the whole family.

You're encouraged to bring the family out and go for a run and then do some trick-or-treating outdoors (burn off your candy calories). Running isn't required, but it's fun. You can also walk if you choose. They're holding eight heats throughout the event with up to ten spots in each one. The entire event will be set up around Lake Francis behind the Sartell Community Center.

When you're done with your walk/run volunteers will give you a goodie bag so you can collect your fun Halloween gifts.

They'll have several local businesses and vendors set up outside and passing out candy and spooky treats to kids. You're also encouraged to dress in costume!

Keep in mind, the event is family friendly and for people of all ages. Costumes should be planned with this in mind (nothing too spooky or scary).

If you're planning on running, you can register here. If you don't plan on running, don't worry, you don't need to register for anything, you just need to show up ready to get some treats!
