Former Vikings to Appear at Waite Park Bar

WAITE PARK -- Sometimes social media can be a good thing, just ask Tom Frericks, who owns the Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill.

Frericks' bar will be hosting three former Vikings for autographs and photos during the NFL Draft.

He says it all started with a Tweet from Tommy Kramer. The former QB tweeted a message to his followers that he was looking for a bar outside the Twin Cities to visit for the NFL Draft.

Kramer, Keith Millard, and Henry Thomas will be appearing at the Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill on Friday, April 29th. The three former Vikings will be at the Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Kramer played for the Vikings from 1977 to 1989 and earned the nickname "2-Minute Tommy" for his ability to bring the team back late in games.
