Foley Fun Days Fiesta Kicks Off Today

It's a celebration in Foley this week as the annual three day Foley Fun Days tradition sets sail. Today's events include a 5-K run/walk, live music and a limbo competition.

The Foley Fun Days 5k Run/Walk starts at the downtown stage area. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and the walk gets underway at 5 p.m.

Live music by Mariachi Jalisco de Minnesota, a 4 person mariachi band, will play music at the downtown stage starting at 7:30 p.m.

The limbo competition starts at 8 p.m. by the downtown stage. There will be a cash prize awarded to the competition winner. There's also a medallion hunt that kicks off today. Clues are posted each day at the Foley City Hall at 7:30 a.m.

MCM's Midway opens today at 2 p.m. Food booths will also be on hand and open for lunch each day.
