Flood Watch & Wind Advisory For Central Minnesota

The National Weather Service says we can expect street flooding and ponding due to rain and snow melt today.

A flood watch is in effect for portions of central Minnesota, east central Minnesota, south central Minnesota,southwest Minnesota and west central Minnesota through 7 p.m.

The NWS says if you live in a flood prone area you should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.

A wind advisory goes into effect at 1 p.m. this afternoon until 10 p.m. tonight. Winds could gust in excess of 45 mph. The NWS says driving could become difficult so you should make sure to leave plenty of distance ahead of you and use extra caution.
