First Responders Get Free Admission To Sea Life In November
Sea Life in Bloomington announced they'll be giving free admission to first responders throughout the month of November.
According to their official news release, "November is a time for feeling thankful." That's why they're thanking first responders for their efforts with free passes to the aquarium.
The free passes can be redeemed anytime Monday through Friday through the end of November.
First responders include all veterans, military members, EMTs, paramedics, police officers, state troopers and firefighters. Their family members will also get a discount on admission. Tickets are normally $24.99 but for the immediate family of the first responders, tickets will be $16.99.
In order to redeem the offer you'll need to visit the Mall of America box office and you must present a valid military ID, government issued badge, employee ID or some other valid proof of employment.
Sea Life is a 1.3 million gallon aquarium located inside of the Mall of America. It features piranhas, alligators, terrapin turtles, muskellunge, tiger shovelnose and more. You can check out their full list of exhibits on their website.
Perhaps the most popular attraction is the shark tank! It features the sand tiger shark which is over 9 feet long, endangered guitar sharks named for their unique shape and more!
Due to the pandemic, they're following all health and safety guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health. Face coverings must be worn at all times covering the nose and mouth. Kids under the age of 5 are exempt.
