First Ever Mini Holidazzle Parade Planned For Kimball
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Well, sort of. The snow all melted last week...however, if stores are already stocked with Christmas supplies and décor and holiday celebrations are being planned and promoted online.
Kimball, Minnesota is in the process of planning their first ever Mini Holidazzle Parade on Friday, November 27th aka Black Friday. It's the day after Thanksgiving.
My mom's rule for decorating for Christmas was to wait until the day after Thanksgiving. As I've grown, I've kind of thrown that rule out the window and start decorating at the beginning of November. However, if you're looking for that special event to get you into the holiday spirit for your decorating, this is it!
According to the event's official Facebook page, the parade starts at 7:30 p.m. so you'll have plenty of time to go shopping and still make the parade.
It's a night parade because there will be lights galore! They're still currently accepting parade units if you're interested in being part of the holiday magic.
The event will happen along 1 Main St. N. in Kimball. You're asked to please social distance while attending because we're still battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can check out the parade route map on the event's Facebook page.
