Do you remember Fiona Apple?  She made quite a splash on the music industry in 1996, with her debut album, Tidal.  She was only 19 years old at the time, and seemed to be a songwriting prodigy.  She was young, beautiful, and obviously very talented.

And then she just kinda disappeared.

Still, that first album was great, and most of us remember the song, "Criminal".

What exactly is going on in that video, anyway?  Fascinating and disturbing, at the same time.

Fiona Apple is ultra talented, and her style is certainly unique - a little alternative rock, with a little jazz, and the angelic voice - that's how I would describe her style.

Her new album has the longest name I've ever heard for the title of a; book, movie, album, etc.  It's called," The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do".

Fiona is unique, and I will be there, when she comes to Minneapolis' Orpheum Theater on July 16!
