ST. CLOUD/ST. JOSEPH - The non-profit organization "Fare For All" will be stopping in St. Cloud Monday. They sell packages of frozen meats and fruits and vegetables at 30 to 40% off the retail price.

Program Manager Scott Weatherhead says it is open to everyone.

It's much like a coop where the more people that show up the more food we order, which means the lower the prices we get, and we pass those savings on to the customer.  So, everyone can come. It's open to absolutely everyone, there are no sign ups or registrations, and no income qualifications.

Weatherhead says their most popular event is the December Holiday pack for $30.

It can feed up to a family of eight for that $30.  This year's holiday pack has a 7 1/2 pound spiral cut hickory smoked ham, a five pound chicken, chicken strips from Tyson, an apple pie, and more.

The Fare For All stop in St. Cloud Monday is at Salem Lutheran Church on Riverside Drive from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Next Monday, December 12th they will be at their St. Joseph location at Resurrection Lutheran Church from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. - which is the largest site in the state.

Fare For All has 37 locations in Minnesota.  It is a non-profit that has been around for about 30 years, but they've only been in this area for the past few years. Their goal is to make good foods affordable.
