Ever See a Groundhog in a Tree?

So, the dog and I were out walking in the woods when we saw the fattest squirrel in the history of fat squirrels. Only it wasn't a fat squirrel...have you ever seen a Groundhog climb a tree?

I mean c'mon, it's right there in their name - GROUNDhog. Aren't they supposed to live happily on and under the ground? Well, according to Wikipedia,

Despite their heavy-bodied appearance, groundhogs are accomplished swimmers and excellent tree climbers when escaping predators or when they want to survey their surroundings.

So, yeah...this Groundhog took one look at us and went straight to the top of a tree. He wasn't too happy about me trying to get a photo either and, even though I asked nicely, he wasn't coming down to discuss his faulty spring prediction.
