Additional Information

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, survivors, advocates, families, students, law enforcement, service providers, businesses, and community members will come together in solidarity to amplify survivor voices and inspire hope.

The Central MN Take Back the Night (CMTBTN) Planning Committee invites the Central MN community to attend an empowering event to honor the experiences of sexual and relationship violence survivors within our community. We will be joining in solidarity with survivors, family members of deceased victims, and allies to rally and hold space in Sauk Rapids. The event will feature tables/information highlighting our community partners, speakers, and a candlelight vigil.

The speaker this year is Ana Maria Studer of Standpoint. Ana Maria has worked in the domestic violence field since 2006, providing advocacy and support to victims and survivors from diverse backgrounds and demographic groups. She has extensive experience in shelter, legal, and community-based advocacy. Ana Maria spent 16 years at Anna Marie’s Alliance, where she served as a Shelter Advocate, Legal Advocate, and Manager of Community Services.

Central MN Take Back the Night will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm at Riverside Terrace in Sauk Rapids, MN. Central MN Take Back the Night T-shirts will be available with a suggested donation of $20.00. The Central MN Take Back the Night Planning Committee is responsible for the event and includes members from: Central MN Sexual Assault Center (CMSAC), Central MN Child Advocacy Center (CMCAC), Zonta, Anna Marie’s Alliance, 500Rising, and Terebinth Refuge. We would also like to thank our community partners for their support and Tidal Media for the amazing new graphics.
